The Concerned Pan Nigerian Youth Alliance for Good Governance, a youth organization, has implored President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take into account the legitimate calls of APC members for power distribution.

In a statement released to the press in Abuja, the Concerned Pan Nigerian Youth Alliance for Good Governance, represented by their National Coordinator, Comrade Tyndale Oforbuike and Secretary, Hafusat Abba, cautioned that those opposing the zoning formula for the 10th National Assembly leadership have ulterior motives that could lead to disaster for Tinubu's administration. The group also observed that following the recent victory, some South Easterners are seeking to secure positions in the President-elect's Cabinet through lobbying.

The group urged the President-elect to prioritize power balancing and inclusivity, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the efforts of those in the South East who steadfastly advocated for his election victory. They specifically mentioned former Nigerian Ambassador to Austria, Jerry Ugokwe, who gave unwavering support to Tinubu's campaign.

The group praised Ambassador Jerry Ugokwe for his outstanding service to Nigeria during his tenure as Ambassador to Vienna, Austria. They noted that he played a pivotal role in promoting unity among Nigerians residing in Austria. Upon his return to Nigeria, he continued to be a voice of truth and conviction in politics, even when it went against popular opinion. The group also acknowledged his contributions to Tinubu's election victories.

The group highlighted that Ambassador Ugokwe, a staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former member of the House of Representatives, played a vital role in mobilizing voters. He conducted numerous interviews, both locally and internationally, to educate voters about the Tinubu Project and ensure that Tinubu's candidacy was well-known in Nigeria's political sphere. Furthermore, he took it upon himself to enlighten those who didn't fully understand Tinubu's vision, convincing them of the president-elect's ability to deliver on his promises. Thanks to his efforts, a greater number of Nigerians came to recognize Tinubu's potentials.

The group appealed to Nigerians to stay composed and continue to contribute to the country's development, as the President-elect has pledged to begin working tirelessly from day one to restore Nigeria's prosperity and overcome years of poor governance. They stressed the importance of prioritizing national interests above personal or ethnic considerations in the new administration's political strategy. Additionally, they emphasized the pressing need for the incoming administration to tackle the ongoing challenges of security and the economy, calling for a state of emergency to be declared in these critical sectors.
