Peter Nwachukwu, has cried out that his wife died from lung cancer and not physical abuse from him as her family and friends have claimed.

Nwachukwu, on Friday June 3, had this to say at the Abuja high court while being escorted to the courtroom.

“Let me tell the whole world, I have suffered a lot. I have been abandoned. What killed my wife was cancer of the lungs; I didn’t hit my wife. Cancer of the lungs killed my wife, Osinachi Nwachukwu, so I’m suffering for what I do not know”. Peter Nwachukwu's words.

Peter Nwachukwu was accused before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory on a 23-count charge that bordered on culpable homicide Friday, June 3, nevertheless he pleaded not guilty to the charge against him, Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, in a short ruling, ordered his remand at the Kuje Correctional Centre, while his trial was adjourned to June 16 at 12 pm and June 17 at 9 am.
