It has been reported that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has introduced his new wife, Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, whom he married in May. The monarch is preparing to formally receive her into the Royal Palace of Oodua in Ile-Ife.

Reportedly, invitations have been issued for the Thanksgiving service and reception in honor of the new queen. The event is expected to be grand and attended by eminent dignitaries.

The event is slated to take place on Saturday, May 20th, 2023.

This Thursday, the traditional entrance of the Queen into the ancient Ife Oodua Palace in Ile-Ife will precede the event.

According to reports, the couple got married on May 10th, 2023. However, as of the time of filing the report, the palace has not made any official statement regarding the matter.

It is worth noting that Oba Enitan Adeyeye is already married to five other women: Olori Mariam, Olori Tobi Phillips Ogunwusi, Princess Ashley Adegoke, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, and Temitope Adesegun.
