Yesterday, President Muhammadu Buhari stated that Nigeria has made substantial investments in the development of its youth and established robust and trustworthy channels for young people and students to refine their leadership abilities and contribute meaningfully to the decision-making process.

In his opening address at the Commonwealth Youth and Students Summit in Abuja, President Buhari declared that his administration has made significant investments in youth development, establishing powerful platforms for young people to sharpen their leadership skills.

Speaking through his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, Buhari expressed confidence that the group of young people assembled at the summit would make practical policy decisions aimed at improving the development and productivity of youth. He believed that these decisions would be implemented by the Heads of Government of the Commonwealth, leading to further improvements in the lives of young people across the Commonwealth.
