On Tuesday, there were widespread reports about Paris Saint-Germain's star player Lionel Messi signing a contract to play in Saudi Arabia next year. However, Jorge Messi, the father of the Argentine footballer, has denied these reports.

According to a Saudi source who was involved in the negotiations, the deal was finalized on very favorable terms. "The contract is outstanding and of substantial value. We are still working out some specifics," the source said, but declined to disclose the name of the club in question.

In response to the reports, the father of the player has dismissed them, stating that no agreement, whether verbal or otherwise, has been made.

Jorge Messi, who is also his son's representative, has stated that there is no agreement whatsoever with any club for the upcoming season. "We will make a decision at the end of the season. Nothing has been signed, agreed upon, or even verbally agreed upon. These are merely false reports that are using Leo's name," he added. It should be noted that Messi already has a contract with Visit Saudi, in which he promotes the Kingdom's tourist destinations. Recently, the 35-year-old footballer was suspended by his current club Paris Saint-Germain for skipping training to visit Saudi Arabia.
