As a means of enhancing the educational standards of schools in Lagos State, the government has arranged an orientation program for school proprietors and owners through the Office of Education Quality Assurance. According to Mrs. Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, the Director-General of OEQA, the Sanwo-Olu administration values the quality and level of education in schools throughout the state, and as a result, the office is continually evolving to guarantee that the highest possible standards are achieved.

 

According to her, "Lagos State is dedicated to ensuring the success of your school by enforcing accountability and minimum standard processes. We will not compromise on our minimum standards. The children and residents of Lagos merit a high-standard education system. Our future is dependent on it, and what we do presently is essential to the progress of our state and country."

In addition, Mrs. Fabambi Falayi, who is the Director of Private Education Special Programs, clarified that the OEQA's obligation was to enhance oversight, regulations, standardization, monitoring, and evaluation of primary and secondary schools, both public and private. She also informed the attendees about the approval processes, provisional approval, as well as post-approval procedures
