Rema earned this recognition thanks to his widely successful track 'Calm Down', which became the first-ever No.1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart - the world's foremost regional streaming chart.

Rema's outstanding achievement has been acknowledged by Guinness World Records, as confirmed in a recent statement on its website. The record-keeping organization verified that Rema is being honored for his groundbreaking accomplishment in securing the top spot on the world's first regional streaming chart and the inaugural official chart in the MENA region.

Rema has now joined the ranks of other Nigerian musicians such as Femi Kuti and Wizkid, who have also earned Guinness World Records recognition for their respective achievements.
