Sweden caused a buzz online over the weekend by declaring sex as a competitive activity and reaching official agreements for its inaugural sex tournament scheduled for Thursday, June 8.

Dr. Dragan Bratych, the leader of the Swedish Federation of Sex, emphasized the significance of sexual engagement during the announcement, highlighting its potential to enhance both physical and mental well-being.

According to Bratych, education and training play a crucial role in enhancing one's proficiency in sex, similar to other sports.

He stated, "Similar to any other sport, achieving desired outcomes in sex necessitates training."

As the eagerly anticipated competition prepares to commence on Thursday, here are five essential facts to be aware of:

1. The event will span six weeks, allowing for an extended duration of participation.

2. Contestants will engage in daily sexual activity lasting between 45 minutes to one hour, depending on the duration of their individual sessions.

3. The competition comprises three distinct levels, with participants needing to achieve a specific minimum score at each level to progress to the next.

4. The audience will have the opportunity to observe the sexual competitions and take note of various aspects of the activities.

5. When determining the winner, factors such as the couple's chemistry, their understanding of sex, their endurance levels, and other crucial sexual attributes will be taken into consideration.
