The Delta State Police Command has launched a search for one Iduh Hausa, who killed his brother-in-law over alleged infidelity in Umunede, in the Ika North East Local Government Area of the state.

According to report, the fleeing suspect shot his brother-in-law following a quarrel that took place between the couple over infidelity allegation in Ileje community. 

An eyewitness said the community is in shock over the incident.

 

Eye witness words, "Mr Iduh Hausa shot his brother-in-law to death just because he (suspect) claimed that the man was dating another lady. He said the brother-in-law was cheating on his sister,” 

 

The spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident to the Punch said effort is ongoing to arrest the suspect.

"Yes, it is confirmed; we have not arrested the suspect; he’s still at large. Effort is ongoing to arrest him wherever he is hiding." he added.
