On Tuesday, the Supreme Court confirmed Ademola Adeleke's election as the governor of Osun State.

According to the verdict of the Supreme Court, Gboyega Oyetola and All Progressives Congress (APC) were unable to provide sufficient evidence to support their claim of improper voter accreditation and over-voting against Adeleke. The five-member panel of the apex court affirmed the decision of the Court of Appeal, which correctly reinstated Adeleke as the governor.
