In a recent episode of the 'Tea with Tay' podcast, Tobi Bakre, a renowned Nollywood actor and reality TV personality, disclosed the story of how he met his lovely spouse, Anu, who is also the mother of his child. During the podcast, he delved into his personal life and marriage.

According to him, he encountered his spouse at an entertainment event where they coincidentally arrived and departed simultaneously.

Following two sightings of her at the occasion, he initiated a dialogue with her and she consented to spend time with him, which they did, and as the adage goes, the rest is history.

In August 2021, Tobi and Anu exchanged vows and tied the knot, and later in December of that same year, they welcomed their first child. Tobi explained that their first encounter occurred when Toke and Ebuka were hosting an event for Toolz and Gbemi. They were both attendees at the show, arrived and exited at around the same time. 

Tobi also mentioned that their relationship grew during the Covid-19 pandemic year.

Regarding the impact of fatherhood on his life, the 27-year-old film actor shared that he has become more conscious of himself and endeavors to improve as an individual, in order to set a positive role model for his son.

He expressed, "I have never intentionally treated anyone badly or unfairly. I do not hold any grudges against anyone. I make it a point to love people whenever possible," and advised others to do the same. He added that since becoming a father, he has become even more aware of the importance of setting a positive example for his son. He strives to be a better version of himself not only for his son but for everyone around him. He believes that fatherhood is one of the most amazing experiences one can have, as every day brings a new excitement, such as his son's new words or learning to walk.
