Nigeria Singer, Timi Dakolo has spoke out how a close friend he considers family almost blocked him from getting a contract.

He furthermore stated that the friend was in the room where the event planners were and they were making suggestion of artist to perform in the forthcoming event.

According to him, everyone in the room were strangers to him except this lady who is a very close friend of his, whom he considered family.

The lady went ahead to discourage the others from giving  him the job.

He added that after the who meeting, one of the strangers asked him if he had problem with the woman because she was trying to block him from getting the job.

Timi also added he got the job but he learnt a lesson from the incident.
