A 17-year-old girl reported that the officer, identified as Owolabi, had taken advantage of her trust when she sought his help in recovering her stolen phone. Instead, he allegedly deceived and exploited her, subjecting her to a traumatic experience. 

 The Police Command has arrested the officer and launched a thorough investigation into the incident. 

 The Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, has ensured that the officer will face the full weight of the law if found guilty. 

 The Command reassures the public that it takes allegations of sexual misconduct seriously and will not tolerate any behavior that betrays the trust placed in its officers. 

 The spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has also clarified that there is no attempt to shield the accused officer, and the Command is committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics."
