Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited has been awarded the top position for utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance customer experience, according to The Digital Banker's expert panel of judges. The bank's outstanding achievement was attributed to its implementation of a card dispute automation initiative. This initiative has successfully reduced the time taken to resolve various card dispute cases, enabling customers to access disputed funds more swiftly and greatly enhancing complaint resolution.
David Idoru, the Head of Consumer, Private and Business Banking (CPBB) at Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria, expressed his joy and appreciation for winning the prestigious award for Best Use of AI for Customer Experience. He stated, "We are extremely pleased to have received this highly acclaimed award, as it demonstrates our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional services and value to our valued clients."
The Digital CX Awards 2023 saw a significant increase in participation, receiving a total of 702 submissions, surpassing last year's awards cycle which had just over 600 submissions.
The 2023 DCX program witnessed the active participation of more than 140 banks from across the globe, solidifying its position as the most comprehensive and fiercely competitive assessment program in the industry on a global scale.
