The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) crusade scheduled to hold at Sokoto have been postponed due to the brutal killing of Deborah Samuel a Christian female student who was murdered and burnt over an alleged blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad in a school group chat in Shehu Shagari College, Sokoto State

The General Overseer of RCCG Pastor Enoch Adeboye said the postponement of the program had become necessary due to the crisis in the state

He further said the event will hold on virtual at a later date yet to be announced

"Postponed but God turned it around. We trust in our God's big picture plan" Adeboye post

He further said intercession is a universal work for Christians and that no continent, country and city office, no power can stop prayer

" The Christian believers serves a God who specializes in using the impossible situations for his glory.

"Devil thought he killed Him, but His death and resurrection resulted into life for many. He keeps turning it around for our good. It is in this might that we proceed " he added
