In a statement released by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Elijah Ayodele, who leads the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, asserted that the affiliation between Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike, and All Progressives Congress (APC) President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, would not be enduring.

The clergyman's statement was made following Tinubu's visit to Rivers State to inaugurate several projects carried out by the Wike-led administration. Primate Ayodele believes that the powerful groups in the incoming APC government will oppose Wike.

Primate Ayodele indicated that the governor would face severe consequences for some of his recent actions.

Primate Ayodele predicted that significant changes would occur after the inauguration of Tinubu's incoming administration on May 29th. He explained that some individuals who anticipate receiving the majority of the rewards may ultimately end up with nothing, as appointments could lead to a fracture within the ruling party. According to Ayodele, Wike's affiliation with the APC will not endure, as powerful groups will vehemently oppose him and he will suffer the consequences, even though he may not realize it at the moment. Ayodele went on to say that the APC would teach him, as well as other PDP defectors, a valuable lesson.

"Following May 29th, there will be a significant transformation, and many things will take a different turn. Those who anticipate receiving the majority of the rewards may end up with nothing, as appointments could cause a fracture within the APC after the inauguration."
