The passing of Sidikat Odunkanwi, a renowned Nollywood actress widely recognized as Iyabo Oko, has been announced. She passed away at the age of 61.

According to her daughter's statement, the actress passed away on Wednesday evening.

Odunkanwi, born on November 15, 1960, in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State, commenced her acting journey under Eda Onileola. Throughout her illustrious career, she earned the monikers "Iyabo Oko" and "Apoti Aje."

In January 2022, there was a controversial incident surrounding her supposed demise, as her daughter proclaimed that she had miraculously returned to life a day after announcing her passing.
