Dr. David Areo Abraham and Apostle Effa Emmanuel, along with other prominent Christian clerics, have emphasized the need for the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and other religious organizations to take a more active role in overseeing churches and ensuring the precision and coherence of prophetic messages.

During the Global Leadership Conference held at the National Ecumenical Centre in Abuja, Dr. David Areo Abraham, the Chaplain of Chapel of Salvation at Nasarawa State University Keffi, emphasized the significance of pastoral education, mentorship, and theological institutions in addressing societal issues and fostering unity among churches.

Dr. Abraham stated, "Irrespective of personal opinions, it is important to distinguish between accurate and ineffective prophecies. Only those prophecies that come true can be considered genuine and divine. Therefore, the validity of prophecies is determined by their fulfillment, indicating their origin from God."

In addition, he raised concerns about the politicization of CAN and called for the association to assume a more proactive stance in regulating the proliferation of churches.

He expressed his belief that CAN holds the responsibility of limiting the excessive growth of churches, emphasizing that they are the administrative authorities to whom people turn to for guidance.

Apostle Effa Emmanuel, the Senior Pastor of World Royal City Church Abuja, shared similar views, asserting that prophecy should not cause confusion as God is not the source of confusion. He stated that one clear indicator of a prophecy being from God is its fulfillment. If a prophecy fails to come to pass, it is not of divine origin.

The clerics emphasized the importance of pastors having mentors and spiritual fathers who can provide guidance. They also underscored the significance of training pastors at conferences like the Global Leadership Conference, as pastors play a vital role in shaping the spiritual and moral values of the nation.

Apostle Emmanuel expressed, "The primary purpose of this conference is to equip pastors, as they serve as the foundation for nation-building. Since everyone attends either a church or a mosque, it is essential to train pastors who can, in turn, train others. That is the significance of hosting this conference."

He remarked, "During the previous election, we witnessed active involvement of the church. New developments emerged from the church, and the extent of church participation in voting was no longer concealed. It was an unprecedented occurrence."

The Global Leadership Conference, hosted by Rennaisance Bible College and Seminary, centered around the theme 'The Role of Theological Education, Ecumenism, and Integration in the 21st Century.'

Furthermore, the event featured the esteemed presentation of honorary doctorate degrees and certificates of recognition by the Grand Renaissance Institute, USA, to deserving Nigerian leaders who have made significant contributions to society.
