The Police operatives and officers of the So-Safe Corps has arrested of two members of a syndicate terrorizing Oke-Ejigbo in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
SP Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson of Ogun State police command, in a statement said the burglars were arrested on Sunday, August 20.
She disclosed that the operatives trailed them to their abode, where various household equipment, comprising a plasma television set, a generator, and handsets were recovered.
Also recovered from the suspects, identified as Kolawole Shobowale and Moruf Soyoye, were a live turkey, foodstuff, and some other sundry items, believed to have been stolen.
However, PPRO further revealed that the suspects have confessed to the crime of breaking and entering into dwelling houses and shops, adding that members of the community, particularly victims of recent house breakings in the area, have continued to show up at the Oke-Itokun Divisional Police headquarters, to identify some of their items that have been stolen
