A young boy who escaped prison, has currently butchered a pregnant woman in IMO state.

The family of the deceased request that the police should step aside so they can deal with the young boy in their own way.

According to report, the escaped prisoner was caught on June 19, at NO.4 Nekede Old Road in IMO state.

As reported, he was apprehended by Locals where the Police intervened on Ihiagwa division.

When questioned, the escaped prisoner blamed his actions on weeds.

After questioning, he was led out in a Police van.

Nevertheless, the deceased family has refused to allow the Police take the suspect. They stood their ground that the Police should release the criminal to them so they can deal with him in their own way.

According to the people of the community, they confirmed that the criminal escaped the Prison break which happened in Imo state.
