On Thursday, Olarewaju Oladimeji assumed office as the new Commissioner of Police in Ogun State and issued a stern warning to criminals to vacate the state. He took over from Frank Mba, who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector of General of Police. Speaking at the state command Headquarters in Abeokuta, Oladimeji assured the public of their safety and security. He emphasized that the command would collaborate with other security agencies to tackle any potential threats and urged lawbreakers to leave the state.

He stated that the command will make every effort to expel cult members from the state, cautioning that anyone who is caught engaging in any criminal activity will be subjected to legal consequences.

He declared that their objective is to ensure that all law-abiding individuals residing in Ogun State can rest easy. If you comply with the law, you won't face any issues. However, if you engage in criminal activities and are not law-abiding, then it is best for you to relocate since failing to do so will result in unfavorable consequences.

He further added that they will strive to provide a peaceful environment for those who abide by the law in Ogun State. He guaranteed that they would collaborate with other agencies to achieve their aims.

Our objective is to prevent Ogun State from becoming a state dominated by cultists. Therefore, we urge any cult members in Ogun State to relocate, as we will be taking legal action against those caught engaging in cultism.
