Bunmi Ipinnaiye, the ward chairman of All Progressive Congress popularly known as APC has committed suicide in a Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp cell in Yagba East Local Government Area, Kogi state.

The NSCDC arrested Bunmi Ipinnaiye for attempted murder of his son who was making friends with boys who are into social media vices.

As reported, Bunmi attacked his son with a machete on their way to farm, this incident was reported and he was arrested.

An anonymous reporter said Bunmi was interrogated but he never gave a reply to any of the questions so he was left in a security outfit office.

While he was there he used his belt to commit suicide by hanging himself, the interrogation officer returned to the office only to find him dead.

All effort to confirm the incident from the Public Related Officer of Kogi state Command if the NSCDC has remained unsuccessful as his phone was off.
SP William Aya, the police public relations officer of Kogi State Command, has promised to get back to the correspondent after finding out from the Divisional Police Officer of the area, but had yet to get back as of the time of filing this report
