Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, the governor of the Ondo state, has advised Nigerians not to allow religion to choose their political rights. He advised that this is the time for power to shift to the south for justice, equity and fairness.

He further referred to the Bola Tinubu, the All progressive congress, presidential candidate who is a Muslim and his wife is a senior pastor at the Redeem Christian church of God (RCCG).

He ended his speech by saying ''This is our time, and nobody is going to take it. 'Awa lokan'. Wonderful theme for this time".
