Ghanaian actor, John Setor Dumelo has once again called for the legalization of the cultivation of marijuana in the country.

The actor cum politician who believes the farming of marijuana will be a major source of revenue for the country in a recent post on Twitter where he indicated how Germany is yet to make revenue from the herbal plant.

He indicated that countries are beginning to legalize the farming and usage of marijuana because they have identified its potential benefits.

“Germany is set to make billions of Euros from taxes by legalizing marijuana. Then we will turn around and go and borrow that same money with interest for our development, forgetting that we (Ghana) grow the best marijuana in the world. Ain’t we smart?” he tweeted.

John Dumelo happens to be among a few Ghanaians who have called on the government to tap into marijuana in terms of revenue.
