Actress Tonto Dikeh, the mother of one have took to her Instagram page to lament her regret over not helping a woman who sent her message asking for financial help. She wept for not helping save the woman's child.

Tonto, revealed the reason why she ignored the woman, according to her, she gave almost half a million Naira to a random fan who reached out to her with a pitiful story. However after rendering the fan money, the scammer deleted the account after getting the money. After that event, she got a similar message from a mother asking for help for her sick son but she refused due to the previous experience.

After few days, she received a message from the woman stating that she have lost the son and now she regret not helping save the sons life.

She further said she will hate herself for a longtime for not helping the woman.

Tonto words, "Few weeks ago I helped out a random fan with almost half a million naira (370k) cause they had mad challenges and she showed a baby and all, one week later I just wanted to check on them. BOOM the account have been deleted, I took with good faith.

I was pissed, I felt I was used and taken for granted but I moved on.

FF to 2days ago, I saw a similar message, seeking for medical assistance. The way i deleted and ignored the message ehen, this morning I opened my DM the mother told me her son died

"I will hate myself for a very long time

See the amount of damage one persons lies and choices have caused 

My heart goes out to everyone going through one thing or the other 

I will beat myself up for this for a long time as long as I stop feeling guilty but the person who made me ignore that message, I pray you suffer more than the grieving mothers".
