Ahmed Idris, the recently suspended Accountant-General of the Federation, has been released from the custody of the EFCC

He was released on bail on Wednesday 1 of June after from the custody of the anti-graft agency in Abuja and has went home to be with his family.

Earlier on May 16, Idris was arrested by the operatives of the anti-graft agency over his alleged involvement in N84 billion fraud.

After three days of his arrest, he was later suspended by the Zainab Ahmed the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, to enable him to face his investigation.
